Temple Grandin Interview

While doing some research on methods of teaching to use at home with my son, I ran across this interview with Temple Grandin.  Temple was diagnosed with Autism as a child.  In this interview, she talks about how her mind works, the different learning styles and shares her ability to "think in pictures."  She makes the case that the world needs people on the autism spectrum:  visual thinkers, pattern thinkers, verbal thinkers, and all kinds of smart geeky kids.

This interview, provided by TED, was really an eye opener! I hope you find it as helpful and as enjoyable as I have.
