Recovering From the Sugar Binge

Now that Valentine's Day is over we can start recovering from the sugar binge that is so customary in America.  The bad thing about sugar is that it can weaken the immune system.  Now is the time to reinforce and rebuild.

There are a few things you can do to help yourself and your family stay healthy.
  • First, throw out all of the left over candy.  No one needs it!
  • Double the vitamins for the next few days.
  • Take Vitamin C.
  • Reinforce the youngsters with Pedia Sure or some other vitamin filled drink.  The chocolate flavored taste great!
  • Get your daily dose of sleep.  Don't skimp!
  • Exercise!  If you have been putting off that New Year's resolution to work out, you are not alone.  This is the perfect time to hit the gym.  Most of the eager beavers who joined the gym on January 2nd have stopped going.  This makes more room for the rest of us.
  • Make an effort to eat healthy foods and not merely food like substances.  Avoid the highly processed item and go for more simple, easily recognizable items like brocolli, carrots, chicken breasts, etc.
Have an idea you would like to share?  We are open for comments!
