Being A Mom Means . . .

  • Thinking you're the luckiest person in the world.
  • You are a role model - this means watching what you say so that your live in tape recorder doesn't repeat the wrong thing at the most entertaining of times.
  • Being over protective - it's a genetic disorder.
  • Actually looking forward to sleep.
  • Making lots of lists and posting schedules.
  • Having eyes in the back of your head.
  • Being able to read facial expressions.
  • Velcro, superglue and wet wipes become your best friends.
  • Teaching your kids to respect themselves.
  • You are willing to be disliked by your kids.
  • Respecting yourself so that your children will learn to respect you.
  • Having the patience of a Saint, the Faith of Job, and the persistence of a bull dog.
  • Knowing how truly Blessed you are.
